Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Telefonica S.A. as part of our corporate treasury department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and economics, with a proven track record of analyzing complex financial data and developing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze cash positions, bank accounts, and liquidity management tasks to ensure optimal cash flow and minimize financial risks.
- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models to predict future cash needs and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize liquidity management, cash pooling, and FX exposure.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Identify and explain deviations from cash forecasts, and continuously improve the cash flow forecasting process.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- SAP and Power BI experience a plus.
- Fluency in English is a must, with fluency in Spanish a plus.
