Job Title: Research Assistant I

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Research Assistant I to join our team at the Department of Clinical Oncology, School of Clinical Medicine.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist clinicians in executing one of the largest clinical genomic projects in Hong Kong, involving next-generation sequencing genomic testing, data entry, quality check, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clinicians in screening and recruiting cancer patients for genomic testing
  • Prospectively follow-up cancer patients for treatment outcomes
  • Handle daily logistics of genomic test ordering, data entry, and quality check
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Statistics, or related disciplines
  • Experience and/or interest in project coordination and clinical research
  • Strong sense of responsibility, good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
