The Field Service Engineer SES BNL is a professional service provider in the hydrocarbon and petrochemical industry, focusing on chemical process water treatments. This role involves providing on-site services at our major accounts in the Rotterdam-Antwerp axis, with a focus on the Zeeland/Rotterdam region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site chemical testing and program follow-up, and conduct calibration of field equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO program and QMS requirements.
  • Improve customer satisfaction and encourage customers to participate in customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Review and agree on Key Performance Indicators with customers in close cooperation with the Account Manager.
  • Execute Site Surveys, Equipment Start-up and Commissioning.
  • Manage Repairs/Maintenance/Warranty.
  • Maintain strong verbal and written contact with different levels within the customer's organization.
  • Perform minor assembly operations as required.
  • Coordinate projects.
  • Support costing of contracts.
  • Conduct and follow technical trainings.
  • Participate in local team meetings to share best practices.
  • Comply with integrity and safety requirements as per Veolia and customer policies.
  • Manage differentiating sales initiatives and execute our strategy.
  • Report all work-related accidents, diseases, dangerous occurrences, near misses, incidents, and damage to property.
Requirements
  • Service-oriented and external focus.
  • Chemical background.
  • Taking initiative - driven by technical improvements.
  • Team player and independent.
  • Commercial feeling and interest.
  • Good communication and computer skills.
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English is required.
  • Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence with Windows Office software, Google Tools, and Veolia IT tools is a must.
  • Experience and/or interest in process and water treatment is a plus.
