At Independent Recruiters, we are seeking a skilled Model Driven Engineering Specialist to join our team of experts in software development. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of software development through model driven engineering.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and experience in developing domain specific languages. They will be responsible for translating customer wishes into technical solutions, languages, and models, as well as creating domain specific languages using technologies such as Jetbrains MPS, Xtext, and Eclipse modelling framework (EMF).

As a Model Driven Engineering Specialist, you will advise companies on the benefits of model driven engineering and how DSLs improve productivity and focus in Research & Development. You will also share knowledge and support other team members in continuous improvement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development.
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing DSLs or other model driven technologies.
  • Experience in modelling technologies like Jetbrains MPS, Xtext, EMF or UML.
  • Abstraction skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of the business side of a project and ability to use this understanding during all development phases.
