We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Expert to join our team as a Business Consultant for Risk Management. As a key member of our RWA Basel Data Product team, you will be responsible for the business aspects of Data Management in accordance with all rules and legislation, policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a Data Steward responsible for defining and registering metadata, analysing and resolving DQ issues, capturing governance lineage and supporting the construction of the Finance & Risk Business Data Model.
- Work closely with subject matter experts from Credit Risk, Basel Reporting, Data Sourcing, Data Modelling and Data Platform to ensure end-to-end overview of the Golden datasets to a use case.
- Represent our consumer, the Basel Chain responsible for calculating and reporting the RWA results.
The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level.
Requirements- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English is required)
- Successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.)
- At least 4 years relevant working experience
- Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices (e.g. DAMA) and the requirements in these areas from the regulator (e.g. BCBS239)
- Affinity with banking, Finance & Risk Management and reporting
