About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Developer to join our R&D team at DFE Pharma GmbH & Co. KG. As a Product Developer, you will be responsible for setting up, planning, and executing excipient projects and application studies from concept to commercial production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and inspire the development of companywide knowledge and expertise.
  • Reveal and explain mechanistic understanding to management and other stakeholders.
  • Proactive collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team across different departments.
  • Identify and share trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Present your findings in scientific meetings.
Requirements
  • Pro-active, result-driven, team player.
  • Academic level in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Material Science, Physical Chemistry, Food/Powder technology, or related.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Powder characterization experience.
  • Experience in research or product development is a preference.
  • Experience in formulation of oral solid dosage forms with lactose, microcrystalline cellulose and/or superdisintegrants is a preference.

You will be part of the Innovation and Technical Solutions Department (ITS) and report to the Product Development Manager. The work location is at the Novio Tech campus in Nijmegen (The Netherlands). Incidental traveling to production locations and customers belongs to the job.

We develop, produce, and market excipients for pharmaceuticals for tablets and dry powder inhalation.
