About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Associate to join our team at Metyis. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining big data architecture and data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and maintainable data pipelines using Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse.
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop and implement data analytics solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to maintain and improve our data platforms.
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipeline automation solutions using tools such as Airflow and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics with a strong understanding of data warehousing principles and concepts.
- Advanced SQL, data transformation, and data profiling skills.
- Experience with building production ETL/ELT pipelines at scale.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, and Azure Functions.
- Programming languages: Python, scripting languages like bash.
- Knowledge of git, CI/CD operations, and Docker.
