About the Role:

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert on dangerous substances, working closely with HSE specialists and businesses on the Medical Campus and connecting with the global Philips organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of risk assessments and evaluations (RI&E) and control measures.
  • Advising management and employees on preventive measures and safe working methods.
  • Monitoring and analyzing working conditions to identify potential risks.
  • Developing and conducting training and information sessions on occupational hygiene and safety.
  • Conducting internal HSE audits and contributing to maintaining and improving the health and safety management system.
  • Collaborating with other departments to implement environmental policies and achieve environmental objectives.
  • Preparing and updating documentation and reports related to health and safety management.
  • Supporting incident investigation and analysis.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Industrial Hygiene or a related field.
  • SKO-certification in Industrial Hygiene or willingness to attain certification.
  • Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a growth mindset.
  • Ability to influence and experience/affinity with creating and driving programs focused on improving procedures, policies, and safety culture.
  • Enthusiasm for environmental challenges and experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is a plus.
