Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Front Office and F&B Operations Manager at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts.
You will be responsible for leading our Front Office operations while also managing a small but vibrant Food & Beverage department.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is approximately €60,000 - €70,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and coordination of reservations
- Managing day-to-day staffing requirements, planning, and assigning work, and establishing performance and development goals for team members
- Providing mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance
- Ensuring staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment to carry out their duties
- Developing your team to anticipate guest needs, act upon, and follow up on guest requests and deliver a level of service and responsiveness that generates guest satisfaction
- Overseeing the operations of the food & beverage department, including breakfast areas and bar area
- Ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service, all in compliance with HACCP regulations and procedures
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining a strong presence in both the Front Office and Food & Beverage areas to interact with guests and staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Good knowledge of English, Dutch is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Problem-solving ability and stress resistance
- A proactive attitude and team spirit
- Possession of a good working knowledge of OPERA (FO) & Micros (FO/F&B)
