Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Damen Naval. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing complex electrical systems for our naval vessels.
Key Responsibilities- Develop functional descriptions, drawings, and engineering documents for power distribution, lighting, and electrical systems
- Develop and maintain specification documents for electrical components and installation processes
- Write test and validation plans to ensure compliance with Class regulations and customer requirements
- Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely contributions to projects
- Review and implement vendor designs in vessel design
- Develop and describe standards and working methods for detailed engineering and commissioning
- Provide technical support and commissioning activities for projects under contract
- 5+ years' experience in designing complex electrical systems, preferably in maritime or industrial installations
- Experience in designing EMC-compliant solutions, with knowledge of TEMPEST regulations
- Professional experience working in complex projects with multidisciplinary teams and multiple suppliers
- Experience working in model-based system engineering environments according to the V-model
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline
- Excellent references and a pre-employment security screening
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport required
