About this project
TNO is tackling the challenges of waste streams, water footprints, and industrial emissions reduction through membrane separation and increased energy efficiency. This project focuses on developing cleaning-in-place technology to detect and prevent fouling tendencies in pervaporation.
Your role
- Conduct an extensive literature review on cleaning in place for pervaporation technologies;
- Develop a predictive tool for cleaning in place (TNO);
- Develop a degradation/fouling model for the membrane.
Requirements
- Background in chemical engineering, chemistry, or a relevant field;
- Knowledge of Aspen simulation tools for flow sheeting;
- Some coding background (Aspen custom modeler, Matlab, Python, or else);
- Positive attitude.
