Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineering Project Lead to lead the engineering process for power distribution projects in the data center industry. The successful candidate will manage a team of Interface- and System Engineers to deliver detailed designs, oversee project scope, and ensure all disciplines and designs are aligned with client needs, budget, and deadlines.

About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineering Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading the engineering process for power distribution projects. This includes managing a team of engineers to deliver detailed designs, overseeing project scope, and ensuring all disciplines and designs are aligned with client needs, budget, and deadlines. You will also serve as the primary technical contact for clients and maintain coordination between designs and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering process for power distribution projects in the data center industry.
  • Manage Interface- and System Engineers to deliver detailed designs.
  • Oversee project scope, including the engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of systems like switchgear, transformers, power distribution units, and digital protection systems.
  • Ensure all disciplines and designs are aligned with client needs, budget, and deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for clients and maintain coordination between designs and stakeholders.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (HTS or TU) with 7+ years of experience in multidisciplinary projects. You should also have solid knowledge of low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, and IEC 61439 standards, as well as experience in technical report preparation and test plans. Additionally, you will need strong leadership skills with experience managing and coaching engineers and excellent communication, political, and commercial acumen to handle critical clients.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary ranging from €60,000 to €90,000 annually, depending on experience, as well as permanent employment with no temporary projects. You will also have the opportunity for direct employment with our clients and relocation support for international applicants, including assistance with all paperwork and the 30% tax ruling application.
