Job Title: Shipbuilding Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Shipbuilding Engineer to join Damen Shipyards. As a Shipbuilding Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and modifying vessels according to client requirements.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work on shipbuilding projects, collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise in 2D and 3D software tools, such as AutoCAD and Rhinoceros3D, will be essential in executing designs accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing or modifying ships using advanced software tools;
  • Executing designs in accordance with customer requirements and industry regulations;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery;
  • Maintaining and improving Damen's design standards;
  • Assisting in creating state-of-the-art presentations of our products.

Requirements
This role requires a strong background in marine engineering or mechanical engineering, with a focus on shipbuilding. Additionally, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, rendering, and animation is desirable. A bachelor's degree and relevant experience are also essential.
