Job Title: AP Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AP Team Lead to join our EMEA Finance Shared Service Center in the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of AP specialists and Sr Specialists, ensuring the timely processing of invoices across 18 legal entities, and resolving queries from the business and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and coordination within the AP team
  • Set measurable goals and encourage professional development
  • Ensure daily inflow is coordinated and managed to meet SLA's and KPI's
  • Be the main point of contact for escalations and ensure timely closure
  • Prepare and participate in operational and management reporting
  • Lead and drive operational excellence in line with Kao corporate culture and vision
Requirements:
  • Completed Accounting degree at MBO (Dutch system) or higher
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience (preferably in SSC international environment)
  • Strong people and performance management skills, tracked record in coaching and leading a team
  • Strong Accounts Payable, P2P operations knowledge at multinational companies
  • Customer- and service-oriented thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to build effective working relationships
  • Solid coordination and organizational skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, ability to apply knowledge of process and policy when providing answers or solutions
  • Experience in supporting innovation, continuous improvement in terms of technologies, processes, procedures, and tools
