About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Engineer to join our dynamic team at Odido. As a key member of our Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in driving infrastructure innovation through automation and new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Linux-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and deploy automation scripts using tools like Puppet and Git.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and platforms.
  • Provide expert-level support for Linux-based services, including Apache, Tomcat, Bind, Unbound, DHCP, MySQL, Percona Xtra DB Cluster, Rabbit MQ, Redis, and Elastic Stack.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and best practices to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience as a Linux admin/engineer.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and preferably Dutch.
  • Experience in telecoms is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux (Debian, Red Hat, and/or derivatives), shell scripting, and configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with Puppet, Git, and cloud products like Azure, Amazon AWS.
  • Good understanding of networking, security, and storage management.
