Procurement Manager

At Regional Office The Netherlands, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring a wide range of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business requirements while ensuring cost optimisation, quality standards, and sustainability principles.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, source products and services, and obtain competitive quotes.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best value.
  • Raise purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Assist in measuring and evaluating supplier performance to reduce cost, increase process efficiency, and business performance.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and ensure adherence to contracted terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payment to suppliers.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement in the procurement process.
  • Contribute to the development of the procurement function by engaging in proactive leadership of projects and initiatives.
