Join Tata Steel's Capex Procurement Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capex Buyer to join our team at Tata Steel. As a Capex Buyer, you will play a crucial role in the procurement of large and complex investment projects, driving the company's decarbonization efforts and contributing to its ambitious sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for capital expenditures, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial procurement, preferably in a similar CapEx procurement role.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract law, and commercial negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English, with a strong command of written and spoken language.
