As a Senior EH&S Specialist, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our EH&S management systems across various sites. Your expertise will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive value-added contributions to our business objectives.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available in Terneuzen, the Netherlands. As a key member of our EH&S team, you will be responsible for leading EH&S performance improvement initiatives, coordinating compliance programs, and participating in incident investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain global EH&S management systems.
  • Drive EH&S performance improvement across assigned sites.
  • Coordinate and optimize EH&S compliance programs.
  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Review and ensure consistency of EH&S-related documents.
  • Perform Requirements Management Work Process roles as needed.
  • Initiate and manage change for EH&S programs.
  • Manage permits and submittals.
  • Coach, train, and mentor EH&S technicians.
  • Conduct site gap assessments and develop training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Fluency in Dutch language required.
  • Relevant working experience in EH&S, Environmental, or manufacturing fields preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with regulatory authorities.
  • Knowledge of Dow's Life Critical Standards.
