We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Flightjobs/DVV Media. As a B1/B2 Licensed Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of aircraft maintenance processes, performing and supervising inspection, maintenance, and modification activities, and releasing aircraft to service.
Main Responsibilities- Process Management: Ensure that maintenance processes on the ground run flawlessly, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Inspection and Maintenance: Perform and supervise inspection, maintenance, and modification activities on aircraft, ensuring that all work is carried out according to specifications and regulations.
- Release to Service: Release aircraft to service after maintenance, ensuring that all necessary checks and procedures have been completed.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in current maintenance processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team of motivated colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Shift-Based Work: Work in a shift-based environment, adapting to changing schedules and priorities as needed.
- Licence and Experience: Hold a B1 or B2 EASA Part 66 recognised licence and have a minimum of 5 years of base maintenance experience working on commercial aircraft.
- Aircraft Type Rating: Possess a minimum of one type rating on one of the following aircraft types: B737, B777, B787, or A330, A320NEO.
- EU Passport or VISA: Hold an EU Passport or VISA to work within The Netherlands.
- Language Skills: Possess good written and verbal communication skills in English, with Dutch language skills not required.
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrate a high level of self-discipline, self-motivation, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Competitive Salary: A gross basic salary between € 3.600 and € 4.778 per month, plus shift pay, license, and type rating pay.
