Job Overview
The Data Officer role is a key position within the European Shimano Organization, responsible for ensuring the availability, usability, consistency, and integrity of item master specifications and media content.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and transform inbound product and media data from various sources to meet business/customer needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness for external distribution via multiple outbound channels.
- Improve product content for use in an omnichannel environment.
- Validate data accuracy and consistency to ensure standards are met.
- Monitor and address data issues raised in integrity reports.
- Manage tasks according to agreed procedures and priorities.
- Maintain effective communication with internal customers and data providers.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience or MBO 3 level.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data is a plus.
- Proven ability to work in diverse teams.
- Methodical and structured approach to work.
- Proactive attitude.
