Position: System Specialist (IT Officer Level)
The LKS Faculty of Medicine is seeking qualified candidates for several System Specialist positions on a two-year fixed-term basis. This role includes a contract-end gratuity and contributions to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of the basic salary, with potential for renewal based on funding and performance.
Qualifications: Candidates should hold a Higher Diploma or higher in Computer Science or IT-related fields. A strong command of both spoken English and Chinese is essential, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in network or server infrastructure.
Required Skills: Practical experience is necessary in the following areas:
- Enterprise-grade storage and backup solutions
- Patch management processes
- Relational and object-oriented databases
- Enterprise-level network and security systems
Experience in establishing active-active data centers will be considered a significant advantage.
Responsibilities: The selected candidates will be tasked with:
- Maintaining and enhancing IT operations within data centers
- Leading infrastructure and security initiatives
- Assisting in the development of a new data center
- Building and configuring extensive networks for remote education
Independent work and availability outside of standard office hours will be required.
Compensation: A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with annual leave and medical benefits.
