We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team in the AttentionLab at Universiteit Utrecht. The successful candidate will contribute to our ongoing research project, 'EyeMdifferent', which aims to understand individual differences in visual attention processing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct large-scale online and in-person lab studies on individual differences in attentional processing
- Map out individual differences and develop better diagnostic tests for attentional problems in various disorders
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary research team to incorporate knowledge into theoretical attentional models
- Participate in the education program of the Helmholtz research school
- Master's degree in experimental psychology, neuropsychology, cognitive neuroscience, or equivalent
- Strong programming skills in Matlab, Python, or R
- Excellent knowledge of quantitative research and statistics
- Good communication abilities for working in a multidisciplinary research team
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- A fully-funded PhD position for four years
- A working week of 36-40 hours and a gross monthly salary between €2,872 and €3,670
- 8% holiday pay and 8.3% year-end bonus
- A pension scheme, partially paid parental leave, and flexible terms of employment
