Global Supply Chain Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with a focus on sales and operations execution.

About the Role

This is a critical role that requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, procurement, distribution, and production. As a Global Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of products through the supply chain to meet customer demands while optimizing inventory levels and production capacities.

Responsibilities
  • Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE): Own and execute the S&OE process, translating demand forecasts into actionable production plans, ensuring alignment with sales targets, production capabilities, and inventory constraints.
  • Demand Forecasting & Analysis: Attend market demand reviews and become familiar with our products, customers, and strategic initiatives.
  • Product Supply Planning (Make): Work closely with product supply planning to develop feasible production schedules that meet customer delivery requirements while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing changeovers.
  • Product Supply Planning (Buy): Own the planning, ordering, and inventory management of products we directly purchase from third-party suppliers, collaborating with warehousing, distribution, and logistics on inbound and outbound issues.
  • Inventory Management: Implement inventory strategies such as safety stock, replenishment policies, and inventory optimization models to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Order Fulfillment & Customer Service: Plan fulfillment flow to optimize order fulfillment performance metrics such as on-time delivery, fill rates, and order accuracy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, logistics, or a related field, with advanced degrees or certifications considered a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in supply chain planning software and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, as well as a range of benefits, including a bonus plan, working from home flexibility, access to a referral bonus and preferred shareholding program, and comprehensive health insurance.
