Join Our Team as a Data Science Volunteer

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic volunteer to join our team at PyData Eindhoven. As a data science volunteer, you will play a vital role in driving and planning our event, ensuring its success and impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Management: Engage our audience through various social media platforms, promoting the event, sharing updates, and creating buzz around PyData Eindhoven.
  • Partnerships and Outreach: Collaborate with partners, sponsors, and local communities to increase the reach and diversity of our event, fostering meaningful connections within the data and Python communities.
  • Content Management: Assist with content creation and curation for the event, ensuring that information is accurate, engaging, and up-to-date both before and after the event.
  • Creative Designing: Utilize your creative skills to design visually appealing promotional materials, banners, and graphics that resonate with our audience and reflect the essence of PyData Eindhoven.
Requirements:
  • Strong passion for events and marketing
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Experience in managing social media accounts for events or organizations
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills, as you'll be working closely with the organizing team
  • Basic understanding of content management and graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite)
  • Availability on the event day to actively participate in the event
  • Availability for regular meetings after working hours in Eindhoven (roughly once every 2 weeks)
