Fellowfield | Executive Search & Interim Management is seeking a Digital Risk Expert to join their team as an IT Internal Auditor. This key role will involve assessing and improving risk management practices across the global value chain. The ideal candidate will be passionate about applying innovative auditing methods and working closely with diverse teams to drive impactful change.

This role will play a crucial part in supporting business by providing independent insights and advice that help manage risks across the value chain. As a member of this team, you will assess how risks are being managed in various parts of the business. You will have the opportunity to co-develop and apply innovative internal audit approaches that go beyond traditional methods. You will actively contribute to creating a better everyday life for many people by partnering with various business teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a results-oriented and hands-on professional with a background in internal IT auditing, IT risk management, and/or compliance. They will be proficient in using internal audit standards and IT audit methodologies but also enjoy challenging traditional approaches and applying new methods. You will be driven by content and highly value good relationships, possessing excellent communication skills both written and verbal enabling you to articulate complex issues in a structured and comprehensive yet simple way. As a team player, you will enjoy discovering new ways to enhance your own skills and knowledge as well as those of others around you. As a critical thinker, you won't mind asking probing questions if it helps achieve the right outcome. You will not overlook essential aspects of auditing yet adopt a pragmatic and effective approach.

A strong understanding of digital trends and the IT risk and compliance landscape is essential. Foundational technologies such as networking, operating systems, cloud environments, and software development lifecycles should be familiar to you. You can apply your technical knowledge to a business context and know how to assess IT environments from a business risk perspective. Experience in leading teams and assignments in an international and culturally diverse work environment is necessary. IT audit, digital risk management, cybersecurity ideally combined with operational audit experience would be desirable. Proficiency in English language with the capability to communicate effectively with non-native speakers is required. Ability to quickly absorb new information break it down organise it and present it in a clear engaging way without losing the bigger picture is expected.
