Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead our software testing efforts and drive excellence in code quality across teams and departments.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring top-tier code quality and developing automated testing processes to streamline testing and release cycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Defining and implementing KPIs to track code quality, creating a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
  • Automation and Process Optimization: Leading the development of automated testing processes and tools, coordinating efforts during releases and sprints.
  • Compliance and Security: Working with security and risk teams to establish controls that ensure code and testing standards meet regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Facilitating company-wide meetings to identify areas for testing process improvements and advocating for a shift-left approach to integrate testing earlier in the development lifecycle.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Mentorship: Guiding QA engineers on the importance of testing, with a focus on automation to reduce manual regression testing.
  • Educational Leadership: Helping the team stay current with testing strategies such as BDD, TDD, and ATDD, and encouraging exploration of new automation frameworks.
  • Problem-Solving: Ensuring testing or automation challenges are quickly addressed, enabling the team to focus on delivering high-quality software.
Your Experience and Skills:
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET for automation and testing.
  • Experience with contract testing, load testing, acceptance testing, snapshot testing (mobile), and performance testing.
  • A strong background in BDD, TDD, and ATDD methodologies.
  • Experience leading QA efforts in complex environments, with a focus on automation and process optimization.
