About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at Proforest. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects that aim to deliver meaningful environmental and social positive outcomes in the supply chain and production base of our clients.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with our clients to develop and implement strategies that promote responsible production and sourcing practices. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a global team of experts and will work on a wide range of topics, including strategy and policy development, traceability, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Develop and implement strategies that promote responsible production and sourcing practices
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Lead a global team of experts, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Masters level qualification in a relevant field, such as human rights, environmental science, or international development
  • Proven experience in a similar consultancy or private sector role, working in or closely with large corporate buyers and international agricultural commodity supply chains
  • Excellent time-management, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to contribute to strategic thinking on environmental and social issues
  • Experience of providing clear and competent analysis relevant to clients
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with external clients
  • Experience of operating in a multi-cultural environment
  • Collaborative and act with integrity
