About the Role
Fugro is seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join our global team. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the company's Information Security posture and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of performing risk assessments to inform policy maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and regions to identify information security risks and ensure adherence to Fugro's Information Security policy and standards.
- Provide effective communication and feedback on security compliance to various stakeholders, driving continuous improvement and setting priority areas.
- Drive and achieve a clear positive change to the information security posture through regular engagement and collaboration.
- Actively share knowledge and insights to increase Information Security awareness throughout the organization.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or relevant professional experience and at least 5 years experience in information security.
- Excellent knowledge of Information Security industry standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
- CISM certificate or capable and willing to successfully acquire one within 12 months. An ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certificate is considered a plus.
- Experience working with internal and external auditors and demonstrated experience in obtaining and maintaining ISO 27001 certification.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
