About this position

TNO is seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our team of experts in the field of petroleum geology. As a glauconite impact analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing data from various sources to understand the distribution of glauconite in a study area and quantify its impact on petrophysical logs.

What will be your role?

In this internship, you will work on two projects: WarmingUP GOO and KENO. WarmingUP GOO focuses on derisking the subsurface for shallow geothermal energy. Your tasks will include analyzing data, creating a dataset to better understand the relation between glauconite and the GR log, and communicating your findings with experts from different disciplines.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a candidate with a broad interest in the geosciences and good communication skills, in addition to good analytical skills. The topic is suitable for an MSc internship or MSc thesis for a candidate with a geosciences background.
