We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Highway Driving Gaze Pattern Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing driver gaze behavior and identifying patterns that can improve the safety of future automated driving vehicles.
Company OverviewTNO is a leading research organization in the Netherlands, dedicated to developing innovative solutions for a safer and more sustainable world. Our team works on improving the safety of (future) automated driving vehicles by acquiring and analyzing data from naturalistic road studies, test tracks, and driving simulator studies.
Job DescriptionIn this 9-month project, you will focus on finding patterns in driver gaze behavior using State-of-the-Art models. You will work at the Integrated Vehicle Safety department of TNO on the Automotive Campus in Helmond, where you will be part of a young and enthusiastic team. Your mentor will guide you throughout the project, providing you with the necessary tools and support to succeed.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have basic knowledge of human factor concepts such as situational awareness and distraction. Proficiency in Matlab/Python or a willingness to learn is also required. Knowledge about driver monitoring or gaze behavior is a plus.
Estimated SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is €25,000 - €35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
