About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Principal to join our team at Intelsat. As a Logistics Principal, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation and distribution of our products across EMEA and APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assure the transportation and distribution of Intelsat products at the right place, right time, and right cost.
  • Manage inventory through ItemAware (WMS at AMS location).
  • Coordinate all warehousing activities at Intelsat locations in EMEA and APAC.
  • Prepare shipment and customs documentation, ensuring strict compliance to import/export rules.
  • Coordinate distribution of international freight and exported goods.
  • Collaborate with and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of goods, maintain delivery schedules, and track deliveries to ensure deliveries are met.
  • Update and provide tracking information to customers and internal departments.
  • Analyze delivery costs and recommend more cost-effective methods of transportation.
  • Support contract negotiations with outside transportation companies, handle customer complaints, and investigate delivery issues.

Requirements

  • A Completed MBO training level 4 or work and think level, preferably in Logistics.
  • The ability to speak and the knowledge of the English language in word and writing.
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in a logistics environment.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in Aerospace.
  • Communication skills.
  • Great sense of responsibility (safety, security).
  • Continuous improvement mindset and provide feedback attitude.
