Are you a skilled professional looking for a challenging role in the field of engineering and application management? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Functional Application Specialist Teamcenter/ TCRA to join our team at Damen Naval.
About the Role:We are looking for a talented individual to support the engineering functionalities in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform: Teamcenter, with a special focus on the connected Teamcenter Reporting & Analytics application. As our Functional Application Specialist Teamcenter/ TCRA, you will be responsible for:
- Translating engineering business process needs into functional specifications for application developments.
- Analysing issues collaboratively with stakeholders and devising solutions.
- Developing and implementing application processes and functionalities.
- Managing interfaces between applications and Teamcenter/TCRA.
- Maintaining user access rights administration within the application.
- Organizing application-related training courses in coordination with the Manager Engineering Support.
- Providing functional support to PLM/CAD users with regards to Teamcenter.
- Preparing and developing Teamcenter/ TCRA training materials, tips, application documentation, and user manuals.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor degree in engineering, preferably in shipbuilding or mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency with Teamcenter & TCRA applications (software).
- Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management.
- Excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being advantageous.
- Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam locations, in The Netherlands.
- Skilled in working with Microsoft Excel and preferably good knowledge of VBA (coding).
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
