About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Contract Manager to join our team working towards a better future. This permanent position is based in The Netherlands (Schiedam, Hattem, or Drunen) or Germany (Hamburg).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage long-term maintenance agreement activities mainly within The Netherlands to ensure customer satisfaction and reach set quality, financial, cost, and time targets.
• Proactive customer communication and lead and coach the Agreement Contract core team.
• Execute assigned contracts in accordance with Wärtsilä guidelines to ensure that the contract management process and general management practices are done safely and efficiently and exceed customer expectations.
• Follow up and maintain customer satisfaction and ensure that agreed actions are taken.
• Follow up financial, operative, and technical performance through reviews and reporting and take necessary corrective actions.

Requirements

• Background/Education in technical/commercial area.
• At least five years' experience in contract management and/or sales, project delivery, or field service.
• Native Dutch and excellent knowledge of English both written and oral.
• Proven technical experience in marine operations.
• Internal Combustion engine experience in marine operations.
• Excellent Leadership and communication skills.
• Skilled in planning, target setting, and reporting.
• Wärtsilä knowledge & business understanding.
• Contract Management and Process knowledge.
