Housekeeping Floor Supervisor

At Pulitzer Amsterdam, we're looking for a skilled Housekeeping Floor Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning of guest rooms and service areas, working closely with the RD LeadsHousekeeping team.
- Facilitate daily communication within the Housekeeping Department, acting as a connection between RD Leads and HSK FOH employees.
- Run daily spot checks in guest rooms to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Check service areas at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure tidiness and availability of supplies.
- Provide assistance and advice to Operations Medewerkers, addressing questions, requests, or complaints.
- Assist with HR-related tasks within the HSK Department, including feedback conversations, grooming rules maintenance, and training/coaching of Operations Medewerkers.
- Train and coach all Operations Medewerkers in room cleaning procedures and coordinate training for employees from other departments as needed.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evening shifts, on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
- Willingness to assist in other departments as required by business needs.
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a Floor Supervisor in a similar setting.
- Physical strength and endurance to stand for extended periods and lift/carry equipment.
- Proficient training skills to effectively train and coach Operations Medewerkers in room cleaning procedures.
- Strong communication skills in English, with experience working in a multicultural team environment.
- Experience working at Pulitzer Amsterdam as part of our introduction program.
