As a Lead Welder, you will be responsible for making welded connections in series or repeat orders. You will need to pass an annual proficiency test by creating a test piece (validation process). Your work will involve four main tasks:

• Read and understand drawings, photos, and work instructions;
• Read work order and welding joint drawings;
• Set up welding machines and apply appropriate tools;
• Consult with the Gap Leader on the approach to the work;
• Ensure the correct work sequence to prevent distortion.

• Insert parts into molds or clamp them securely;
• Perform manual welding using various techniques;
• Weld joints with resistance welding machines;
• Ensure high-quality welds meeting industry standards.

• Check the quality of welds and verify they meet specifications;
• Measure dimensions using control jigs;
• Inspect the appearance of welds and adjust tools or machines if necessary;
• Call the Gap Leader for complex issues or quality deviations.

• Remove weld spatter from products using a wire brush;
• Makes corrections to rejected products and document digitally;
• Prevent weld spatter during manual welding using wire sleeves.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience with MIG/MAG or TIG welding. You must be willing to work in a 2 or 3 shift system and available full-time for a longer period. Strong reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential for this position. Although not necessary, welding certificates or diplomas are valuable assets.

• A starting salary of € 38,730 per year based on a full-time, 3-shift schedule;
• A full-time contract for an extended period with potential for takeover by Faurecia after good performance;
