Yacht is a leading manufacturer of high-tech equipment, with a diverse range of factories and processes. As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the design, implementation, and management of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Working on a wide range of projects in multidisciplinary teams to realize and optimize parts of our plants.
  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for the Equipment Creation Process, from customer advice and specification to commissioning and transfer to the maintenance organization.
  • Supporting operations and managing the outsourcing of design and realization of equipment within our CAPEX supply base.
  • Ensuring successful project completion and commissioning according to agreements, costs, and schedule.
  • Collaborating with suppliers, fellow Equipment Engineers, Production Engineers, Quality Engineers, Purchasing, Facility Services, and colleagues from the maintenance department.
  • Identifying possible risks and problems in time and finding smart and structural solutions.
  • Working according to Canon standards and having an eye for safety and environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable skills in applying the Machinery Directive, ATEX, and CE marking.
  • Training to work safely in an industrial environment and a valid VCA-VOL certificate.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the Equipment Engineering Department, responsible for the design, implementation, and management of equipment. Our department has about 30 employees, working on high-tech equipment with various techniques, such as micro-precision technology and coating processes in clean room environments.
