Your Profile

">

We are looking for an experienced software engineer who can contribute to our development team. You should have at least 5-7 years of experience working as a back-end engineer and be proficient in C# with a thorough understanding of the .NET framework or similar frameworks and languages. You should also be familiar with mature development practices like automated testing, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.

You will excel in designing, building, and operating features end-to-end. You will talk to business and understand their needs over their asks, trying to optimize value creation for the products you work on. You will contribute to your chapter, improving engineering practices and growing development teams across the company.

Your Tasks

  • Contribute to feature development by designing, building, and operating features end-to-end.">
  • Talk to business and understand their needs to optimize value creation.">
  • Contribute to chapter improvement and growth of development teams.">
  • Pullback on over-engineered solutions and advocate for improving under-implemented ones.">
  • Help and coach junior developers by providing feedback and guidance.">
  • Participate in Guilds and share knowledge to encourage good engineering practices.">
  • Provide thoughtful, constructive code reviews.">
  • FOLLOW best practices and industry standards regarding architecture and software design.">

About This Job

">

This is a full-time position based in Hilversum, Netherlands. The ideal candidate should be up to date with technology landscapes and able to evaluate their impact on the organization and its products & services. You should be able to write simple and effective code that solves business problems and be actively working on developing yourself, eager to learn, and open to different ideas. You should live in the Netherlands and be willing to work together with the team in our Hilversum office at least two times a week.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is €70,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience. This figure is calculated based on the title, job description, and location of the position.
