We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at the Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to take charge of our hotel's maintenance operations.

Job Description:
  • To ensure that all hotel facilities, including painting, updating walls, ceilings, and woodwork, are maintained to a high standard.
  • To carry out routine maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance routines as per departmental requirements in tiling, plumbing, carpentry, and other areas.
  • To investigate and resolve process/equipment/instrumentation/control system issues promptly.
  • To maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and procedures.
  • To assist plumbers and electricians in rectifying defects or malfunctions in hotel systems.
  • To provide assistance and direction to contractors employed to work in the hotel.
  • To interact with all departments of the hotel to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in hospitality maintenance or a related field is desirable.
  • Safe pass certification is preferred.
  • Qualifications in one or more trades, such as painting, heating, plumbing, and construction, would be advantageous.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work is essential.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours is necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
