We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Access Specialist to join our team at Pfizer. As a Market Access Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accessibility of Pfizer's medicines and vaccines for Dutch patients.
Main Responsibilities- Develop market access strategies for various therapeutic areas and related Pfizer products on the Dutch market.
- Coordinate the entire reimbursement process and lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients in the Netherlands have access to innovative medicines and vaccines.
- Identify current and future key environmental factors influencing market access and develop strategies to optimize access.
- Represent Pfizer Netherlands in relevant national and international forums, effectively communicating and justifying our positions.
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Policy, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Health Economics.
- At least 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or research.
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the Dutch healthcare system, reimbursement system, market access dynamics, and developments.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, including negotiation and persuasion skills to engage with external stakeholders.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and strong analytical, project management, and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving orientation, ability to think creatively, and flexibility in response to changing environmental factors.
- Proactive, motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in developing market access strategies and preparing reimbursement dossiers, with a track record of successfully securing reimbursement for multiple products.
- PhD in a relevant field is an asset.
