The Senior Research Associate, Translational Research, is a key member of the Translational & Quantitative Science department.
- This role is responsible for conducting a broad range of in vitro experiments to study the mechanism of action of antibody products in preclinical development and early clinical stages.
- The successful candidate will contribute to indication prioritization and identification of biomarkers, informing the optimal translational strategy for testing antibody products in the clinic.
- Key techniques used in this role include multicolour flow cytometry, cell culture, functional cellular assays, life cell imaging, and immunoassays.
- Design, execute, and analyze experimental results in a timely manner, drawing valid conclusions and presenting insights to the wider project team.
- Lead assay development, optimization, and implementation efforts to ensure high-quality data.
- Support the development of automated systems and E-Systems.
- Set high quality standards and take initiatives to improve team and individual performance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant life science subject, with over 4 years of lab experience in industry or academia.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in immuno-oncology, with a focus on techniques such as multicolour flow cytometry, cell culture, and immunoassays.
- Precise and efficient execution of experiments and documentation of results, with ownership of data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Initiative, high-quality standards, and a willingness to expand knowledge and skills.
- Capacity to independently plan, design, and run experiments with minimal supervision, with flexibility and adaptability to tight timelines.
- Fluent English language skills.
