About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chapter Lead to join our Reliability & Infrastructure Engineering team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of reliability engineers and infrastructure engineers, and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and guide team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability and availability of our IT systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Identify and address technical issues and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in reliability engineering and infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and developing strategies to improve reliability and availability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technical issues.
  • Experience with Azure Services, including Azure Data Factory, App Services, and Virtual Machine, and platform engineering.
  • Knowledge of Tower Dashboard and operational KPIs.
  • Good understanding of patching, vulnerabilities, and security of applications.
