About the Role
Covebo is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team in Helmond. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our aluminium cans production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on aluminium cans technological parameters, ensuring compliance with set standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure the efficiency of measurement devices and parameters, supervising instructions and compliance with requirements.
- Organise service visits, maintain measuring equipment calibration/service schedule, and keep certificates and gauge trace updated.
- Undertake investigations, quality improvement projects, and data collection exercises to support the business and customer initiatives.
- Apply SPC and Minitab Process control methods for analysing data, evaluating the current process and process changes.
- Internal metrological verifications, calibrations, and qualifications of all measuring and control devices.
- Ensure operation and conservation of measuring equipment in accordance with supplier service instructions.
- Remove insignificant damages of measurement devices and create specific internal instructions.
- Perform statistical analysis of quality parameters, selected periodically indicated by the superior.
- Keep records and if required samples of any quality issues, rechecks to be performed.
- Carry out internal training for employees, introducing new instructions and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum secondary education (addition education in the quality field)
- Experience in a Quality Control role
- Ability to use measurement devices, test equipment, and tools
- Knowledge of ISO standards, BRC, HACCP principles, and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of SPC, MINITAB, Statistica
- Good command of the English language
- Good organisational/interpersonal skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team effort
