About the Role
ASML is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Team Lead to join our Global Security Centralized Services - Security Operations Center. As a key member of the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT), you will play a critical role in driving zero impact from adverse security incidents.
Key Responsibilities
As a Security Operations Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced operational security professionals who detect, analyze, and respond to adverse security events. Your team will perform medium complexity incident resolution and specialized investigation capabilities such as digital forensics.
You will support your team in their development and ensure effective, high-quality execution of processes. You will collaborate with the Operations Monitoring team lead to ensure effective escalation and work with the Coordination & Delivery team to leverage their expertise in complex incident coordination.
Next to daily operational alignment within the team and stakeholders on running cases, you will regularly align with peers on the continuous development of the SIRT capability. You will identify, shape, and drive demand towards Security Technology Engineering teams to support your team with the right tools and data to perform their mission.
You will ensure lessons learned are translated into issue & action plans and handed over to Security Problem management for structural remediation assurance.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background in Security Operations and management experience, preferably in a multinational corporate security environment. You should have a keen sense of how to manage internal- and external stakeholders and manage a team at the same time.
Some key competences that come natural to you in this position:
- Strong team development & coaching focus
- Strong stakeholder management and build solid relationships of trust at different levels
- 8+ years of management experience, preferably in a multinational corporate security environment
- Proven experience with security monitoring & incident response activities
- Broad experience in multiple security domains (e.g., IT, Information, Operational Technology (OT) or Physical Security
- Master's degree working and thinking level
- CISM, CISSP, or SANS GSOC/GSOM certificate is a must
What We Offer
This role will require a 24x7 Fire brigade mentality, high operational excellence focus. You are in possession of a valid work permit for The Netherlands.
