We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Unica Industry Solutions in Venlo.

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer Industry Solutions, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for industrial processes. You will work with PLC/SCADA systems in combination with various sensors and drive technologies to create innovative and efficient solutions for our clients. Your technical expertise will ensure that factory processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions for industrial processes
  • Work with PLC/SCADA systems and various sensors and drive technologies
  • Collaborate with process engineers, hardware engineers, and project leaders to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Ensure that factory processes run smoothly and efficiently
Requirements:
  • HBO degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of PLC/SCADA software packages: Siemens (Step7, TIA Portal, WinCC) and/or Allen Bradley (Studio 5000), Mitsubishi (GX Works), AVEVA Plant SCADA (formerly Citect SCADA)
  • Knowledge of sensors and drive technologies
  • Knowledge of ISA-S88 and/or ISA-S99 is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
