About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist – Information Architect to join our Architecture Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the design and implementation of information architectures that drive business innovation and improve operational efficiency.


Job Summary


The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of information architecture principles and practices, as well as experience in developing and implementing data and information governance frameworks. They will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.


Main Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement information architectures that support business innovation and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Work closely with the Architecture Team to ensure consistency and alignment with Europol's information architecture strategy
  • Develop and maintain data and information governance frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Provide guidance and expertise to colleagues on information architecture principles and practices

Requirements


To be considered for this role, you will need:



  • A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration
  • At least 9 years of experience in information architecture, including experience in developing and implementing data and information governance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential problems and determine effective solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and internet technologies

Salary and Benefits


The salary for this position is approximately €75,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, pension plan, and generous annual leave.

This position is based in The Hague, Netherlands.
