Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at HydroFlexx and SodaFlexx International B.V. in Etten-Leur. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in developing future energy carriers, particularly for ships.
You will work on designing and testing systems to convert hydrogen carriers' energy into electrical energy or propulsion, completely emission-free and CO2 neutral. Our laboratory and production facility are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment.
As a Laboratory Technician, your responsibilities will include setting up experiments, conducting tests, reporting results, and maintaining the laboratory. You will also have the opportunity to develop new tests and experiments, and collaborate with our engineering colleagues.
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about laboratory work and has a strong background in chemistry or a related field. If you are a team player who is eager to learn and grow with our company, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and test systems for converting hydrogen carriers' energy into electrical energy or propulsion
- Conduct experiments and tests to develop new energy carriers
- Report results and analyses to the management team
- Maintain the laboratory, including legal administrative requirements
- Develop new tests and experiments to improve our systems
Requirements
We are looking for a Laboratory Technician with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field, and at least 5 years of laboratory experience. You should be willing to take on tasks outside of your job description and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
