Quality Assurance Manager

FORTNA is a leading provider of transformative solutions for omnichannel and parcel distribution operations. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality for our material handling systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control processes to enhance efficiency and product/service quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that products or services meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Auditing: Conduct regular internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Problem Resolution: Lead investigations into non-conformities, customer complaints, and product defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by analysing data, feedback, and performance metrics to drive enhancements.
  • Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) to measure and improve product quality.
  • Global Alignment: Coordinate and align actions, tools and process improvements with the Fortna Global Quality system to maximize synergies and implement an uniform way of working.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills among team members about the company's quality objectives.
  • Documentation: Manage and update documentation related to quality processes, procedures, and standards, record-keeping of quality-related activities, ensuring traceability and accountability.
  • Regulations: Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and regulatory requirements to proactively enhance the quality management system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management).
  • Proven experience in quality management within the manufacturing industry, preferably with material handling systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English language.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and drive a culture of quality excellence.
  • Experience in approaching business processes with the application of Lean & Six Sigma principles.
