Job Description:

As an Electrical Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that purchasing targets in the dimensions of cost, time, and quality are met or exceeded, particularly in the area of electromechanical and mechanical components from European suppliers.

  • Evaluate and select suitable suppliers based on their qualifications, expertise, and pricing.
  • Negotiate project-related supplier contracts, including nomination letters, capacity agreements, and long-term agreements.
  • Maintain close coordination with project and quality management teams to ensure compliance and implementation of agreed-upon terms.
  • Serve as a liaison between strategic purchasing, product development, project management, quality management, and manufacturers to facilitate information exchange and coordination.
  • Collaborate with the R&D department to advise on material and component selection regarding technical properties and commercial framework conditions.
  • Prepare and implement BOM reviews to optimize the degree of fulfillment of key figures, focusing on highlighting special materials/components/suppliers to ensure availability for series production.
  • Participate in the development of purchasing strategies and optimization of purchasing processes.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in international procurement, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of electromechanical and mechanical components and their parameters.
  • Bilingual proficiency in German and English.
  • Proficient in MS Office and internet research, SAP knowledge an asset.
  • Independent problem-solving approach, high teamwork and communication skills.
  • High level of commitment, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel within Europe and Asia.
  • Customer-oriented professional appearance.
Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary of €92,000 per annum, flexible working hours, and an attractive performance-based bonus structure. Additionally, expatriate contracts may qualify for special compensation packages.
