About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team at Coolblue. As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing data processing platforms with an emphasis on security, scalability, efficiency, reliability, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data processing platforms on AWS and/or Google Cloud, leveraging event-driven architectures to deliver outstanding performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of data platforms.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data infrastructure, utilizing tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, and CDK.
  • Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Analytics Engineers to enable data-driven decision making.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience deploying distributed applications on the cloud, with a focus on Business Intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture on AWS and/or GCP.
  • Proficiency in Configuration Management tools, such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration, logging, and monitoring tools, including Teamcity and Datadog.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
