Position Overview

Join Our Productivity – Processing Team as a Food Innovation Trainee and Transform Food Processing Techniques

Location: Wageningen, Netherlands

Role Summary:

  • We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic R&D intern to support our strategic initiatives.
  • Assist the team in identifying essential factors and guidelines to enhance our pilot plant operations to full-scale production.
  • Key responsibilities include: gathering process design data from Upfield's processing systems across laboratory, pilot plant, and industrial scales.
  • Developing a comprehensive overview of projected shear rates for various unit operations and, crucially, establishing protocols and standards to streamline the scaling up of Upfield's processing technologies.

Candidate Profile

What qualifications will lead to success in this position?

  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Food Processing at a recognized university.
  • Proficient in collecting and organizing data from diverse sources in a systematic manner.
  • Skilled in data analysis, capable of uncovering valuable insights and significant trends.
  • Demonstrates proactivity and curiosity.
